My first Mother's Day

I had a wonderful mother's day! I can't explain enough how much I love being a mother. I am the luckiest woman in the world with the cutest son ever! What a blessing he is! I can't say it's been easy but is still has truly been more amazing then I ever thought it could be.
We had a great day yesterday. We went to my in-laws for breakfast. After that we came home my honey let me take a nap with Brayden while he cleaned house. It was great! He is always so good to me. Brayden got me some flowers to plant in my pot outside and Gary got me a pedicure. My boys are so good to me!
We had my mom and Jerry over for some dinner and had a very relaxing evening.

I am so grateful for the moms in my life. There are so many to thank and too many to mention here. But I will mention the 2 most important.

Mom - Thank you, thank you, thank you! You make me proud to be your daughter. You have done a great job in raising Ang & I. We didn't always have it easy and I did notice how much and how hard you had to work your whole life to give us the life we did have. We may not have had everything we ever wanted but I always knew we had eachother and I knew I had a mom I could rely on and confide in. I am thankful to you for being my mother first and teaching me good morals and principles in life. Because of that relationship we are the best of friends. I am so glad we have always been so close. You have been an inspiration to me through out my life and continue to be so. I love you!

Lynn - To those of you who read this and don't know, Lynn is married to my dad (I hate saying stepmom, it just never fit, cause then I always think "wicked stepmother" LOL) I love you! You may not be my biological mother, but you stepped right up to the plate of helping raise Ang & I when you married my dad. I loved you instantly, and it has continued to grow over the years. For that very reason you are a mother to me. Thank you for all that you have taught me. I am truly grateful for the friendship we share! I have always been able to talk to you so easy and get great advice from you. Thank you for always listening. I love you!

I feel so lucky to have 2 moms in my life! I had double the inspiration, double the advice, double the love.

I love my son and I am so grateful for motherhood and all that it teaches me and will continue to teach me!

Ahhhh. By the way, why didn't you put the picture of Brayden flipping you off? That's really what motherhood is all about, right?
